Browse to the Config Mgr program files and open the Tools folder. Double-click on cmtrace.exe


Accept CMTrace as your default log viewer

    I normally copy this exe directly into the %windir% so it's easily accessible and always in the %path% e.g. start > run > cmtrace

    when it is used as the default log viewer, you can open it with double click on the log files
