Have a look a the MDT deployment share and you will see the content that we can add.
Applications - we can add applications. However, we will not be doing this. We will use an advanced task sequence later (in step 5) which will allow us to pause the build and capture task sequence to install applications and customize settings.
Operating Systems - we will be adding the Windows 7 installation files.
Drivers - we do not require any drivers as we will be working with a virtual machine.
Add Operating System
Right click on Operating Systems and choose to Import one.
Choose "Full set of source files".
Browse to location of Windows 7 files.
Click Next.
Enter name for OS image.
Click Next to continue.
OS image is being added.
OS image has been added.
See properties of image.
