other than getting mobile devices in the console through intune, what other devices are in your console pictured above?
ReplyDelete-Mike
Sorry Mike. I don't understand the question. There are two test mobile devices registered and managed above (through Intune - seen in All Mobile Devices). This particular environment also manages approx 500 clients. Is that what you are asking?
ReplyDeletethanks for the response Gerry. I was wondering about windows mobile 5 capabilities. I have a customer with 6k win mobile devices and my customer was asking about 2012's abilities. InTune isn't an option since win mobile 5 isn't supported. Just wondering what other options there were.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, great work on the write ups.
Thanks for that. Unfortunately the only way to manage mobile devices in SCCM 2012 is through Intune integration.
ReplyDeleteHello Gerry,
ReplyDeleteWhat types of certificates can be deployed via Compliance settings? I believe it would be beneficial to expand on this for readers.
Thanks so much!
Jeff
Certificates on mobile devices are primarily used in the following scenarios:
ReplyDeleteTo create a secure channel using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) between a mobile device and a web server or service.
To authenticate a user to an email service.
Certificates are also used for installation and licensing of Windows Phone 7 applications from the Marketplace Hub
